The company currently produces around 5,000 tons per month, with an expansion plan to reach 10,000 tons per month in the near future. Zainab Bottlers Company Ltd. (ZBCL) operates one of Zanzibar's most advanced beverage manufacturing facilities, producing the popular Zan Aqua bottled water and Frutto's fruit-flavored soft drinks. Its fully automated production lines ensure hygiene, quality consistency, and efficient output across multiple packaging sizes — 20L, 15L, 1.5L, 1L, 500ml, and 350ml — with a focus on purity, taste, and sustainability through its reusable 18.9L jar system.

As a pioneer in Zanzibar's beverage industry, ZBCL exemplifies local manufacturing excellence, driving employment, import substitution, and environmental responsibility while meeting growing consumer demand with trusted, high-quality products.

VIGOR Group plays a pivotal role in strengthening Zanzibar's maritime and logistics infrastructure through the development of the Mangapwani Multipurpose Port. This landmark project enhances import–export capacity, reduces dependency on external ports, and supports long-term economic growth across the region.

The port is designed to handle liquid bulk cargo, containerized goods, fishing vessels, and offshore supply services; improves logistics efficiency and turnaround time for imports and exports; strengthens Zanzibar's position as a regional trade and logistics hub; and supports industrial growth, energy diversification, and supply-chain resilience.

The V-Gas and LPG Facility at Mangapwani Port marks a major milestone in Zanzibar's energy infrastructure. The project enhances energy accessibility, strengthens supply security, and supports the Isles' transition toward cleaner and more reliable fuel solutions.

On 27th June 2024, the LPG terminal at Mangapwani Port was officially inaugurated by H.E. Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, President of Zanzibar. The facility, developed by Oryx Gas Zanzibar Limited in partnership with TP Company Limited (VIGOR Group subsidiary), ensures a sustainable LPG supply while addressing long-standing energy supply challenges across the Isles.

In collaboration with regional partners, VIGOR has launched solar microgrid and renewable energy projects across the Union of Comoros, including Anjouan and Mohéli, supplying renewable power to SONELEC, the national electricity provider. These initiatives are designed to harness solar and hybrid energy systems to power rural and semi-urban communities, improving reliability, reducing carbon emissions, and enabling green growth.

The PV-ESS energy plant located in Anjouan supplies electricity to SONELEC and involves the installation of a Hybrid PV-BESS System consisting of 5.048 MW — a microgrid with very high penetration of renewable energy. The project also forms part of a wider initiative involving the island of Mohéli in the Comoros Archipelago.
